SUPPORTING PROGRAMME
BIKE PARADE
7pm gathering: in front of PLATO – end of route: MUSEUM COURTYARD
Hedgy rises and gently wipes his snout. “The time has come for me to leave, no doubt.”
The traditional bike parade, starting from the plato in front of ERSTE Bank, will visit all locations of the 31st FEP: DS "Proscenium," the Hungarian House, the City Cinema, PU "Pčelica", the "Veljko Petrović" City Library, and the City Museum. Along the parade route, we will watch scenes from „The Hedgehog’s House“ by Branko Ćopić, whose verses are this year’s Festival slogan. Decorate your bike and dress up as your favorite forest animal, and join the hedgehog on an adventure.
Panel discussion: AI = eco?
We know what ChatGPT is. We know what Gemini is. But do we know how artificial intelligence works, and what is its connection to nature? At this panel discussion, we will explore the topic of artificial intelligence, servers and other resources necessary for its operation. We will look back at the good things AI has brought, but also at the problems it has caused. We will conclude the panel with a discussion on the (environmentally) responsible use of computers and web technologies.
Moderator:
Bojana Mihajlović was born in 2001 in Bačka Palanka. After graduating from the "20. Oktobar" High School, she enrolled at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, where she earned the title of Graduate Engineer in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She is currently pursuing a master's degree at the same faculty. She has been a volunteer at the Festival of Ecological Theater for Children and Youth for many years. The topics of ecology and nature conservation have always been important to her, as well as the topics of responsible use of computers and web technologies.
BULLETIN OF THE 31st FESTIVAL OF ECOLOGICAL THEATRE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
This year, as part of the FEP, we are also expecting a festival BULLETIN!
In order to ensure that all the special features and authenticity of the 31st edition of the FEP remain recorded and reach even the audience that is not able to enjoy the Festival itself, the Bulletin will, as before, include numerous impressions from the audience at the performances and workshop participants, as well as interesting columns from the pen of two brilliant playwrights, Aleksandra Jovanović and Dunja Matić.
As in previous years, we continue to develop and nurture theater criticism in the field of theater for children and youth. This year we have a regional team consisting of three young critics from Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro. Some of them wrote their first professional reviews at our Festival, and some are yet to write:
LEA PETROV / Faculty of Dramatic Arts (Belgrade, Serbia)
Lea Petrov was born in 2002 in Belgrade. She graduated from the First Belgrade Gymnasium, and then enrolled in Dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
During her studies, she wrote and collaborated on various projects, including scripts for four short student films (one of which was also at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts Festival), dramatizations for two student theater directing exercises, as well as an adaptation of the text based on Bertolt Brecht's Threepenny Opera, which was presented at Sterija's Youth Theater. Her play Nudity was performed on the stage of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and as part of the 32nd BELEF, in Atelier 212. She worked as a playwright on two documentary radio dramas, About drag culture and About nudity, which had a public hearing as part of the 32nd BELEF, and as the scriptwriter for the FLUX radio teaser. One of the authors of the performance that was performed at the closing ceremony of FIST. In Teatrijum, she was the playwright for the plays Shakespeare in the Park: Looking for Hamlet and Midge. She wrote the script for five episodes of a domestic sitcom. During the faculty blockades, she worked on writing statements from the students in the blockade at the level of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and the University of Arts.

IVA RADIĆ / Academy of Arts and Culture (Osijek, Croatia)
Iva Radić was born on August 29, 2002 in Osijek, where she completed the Second Gymnasium (language) and basic studies in Acting and Puppetry at the Academy of Arts and Culture. She participated in numerous art workshops and starred in several short films and one, but valuable, commercial! Since Osijek is a small town and her curiosity is big, she often participates in Erazmus+ projects for young people, through which she travels and gets to know herself and others in the world. Her favorite activity is being at sea, followed by Hollywood dramas, doing puzzles, sport climbing, archery, beach volleyball, picigen on the Drava River, and five-hour coffees with friends. All of this brings her happiness and reminds her how much she should appreciate the art she does, but also the life she lives.

DOROTEJA BUŠKOVIĆ / Faculty of Dramatic Arts (Cetinje, Montenegro)
Doroteja Bušković was born on May 22, 2004 in Cetinje, where she completed her second year of undergraduate studies in the Drama and Theater program at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. For two years now, she has been working as an associate at the Drama Studio of the Royal Theatre Zeta home, where she was a student for 7 years, during which time she participated in three professional performances. Today, working in the same place, with children, provides her with a source of joy and personal growth. She wrote her first play, Pajama Party at the age of fourteen, which she directed herself, and the play was performed as part of the Children's Theatre Festival of Montenegro - Bar. During her later professional experience, she assisted regional theater directors and worked on three student films. She also participated in the organization of the Sarajevo Film Festival, as well as the International Alternative Festival Korifej. She is a member of ASSITEJ, an association whose goal is to promote and develop artistic creativity for children in Montenegro. She likes to spend her free time in the mountains, and she always carries a camera with her and captures shots where the mountain peaks touch the clouds..

This year, we have refreshed the newsletter with a new section: the ECOLOGICAL FEUTHON! It is conceived as a place where the connection and mutual influence of ecology and art in the broadest possible sense is seriously and theoretically considered. Considering that the program of the 31st FEP has been carefully selected so that the performances from the selection deal with the theme of nature, are performed in nature or represent a significant step forward in the field of process ecology, as well as include a panel dedicated to the relationship between ecology, artificial intelligence, security and patriotism - in the Bulletin we will read texts that will address these important topics and their relations, as well as interviews with pioneers in the application of ecological practices in work who will share their experiences with the FEP audience and talk about the struggles and challenges they go through every day on the path of green transformation in theater.
The ECOLOGICAL FEULTHON in the Bulletin is supported by the European Union within the project. This project, with financial support from the European Union and in partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, is being implemented by UNDP, in cooperation with the Swedish and European Investment Banks (EIB), with additional financial resources provided by the governments of Sweden, Switzerland and Serbia.
Each day during the Festival, one part of the Bulletin will be published, and after the end of this year's FEP, they will be combined, edited and published, both in electronic form and in the form of a printed edition, which will later be available in libraries throughout Serbia.
The editor of the Bulletin of the 31st FEP is Milja Mazarak Marinkov.
