MUSIC PROGRAM

FEP’s music program is intended for youth, but also for everyone who grew up with the festival – those who were once the youngest members of the audience and now come to FEP with their own children, as well as those who once brought their children and now bring their grandchildren. Because when it comes to a good time, age is hardly a criterion.

From Wednesday to Saturday, we spend our festival evenings in the Hungarian House Yard, making room first and foremost for young voices, guitars, drums, beats, producers and DJs from Bačka Palanka. Alongside them, we’re bringing fresh and exciting names from the Serbian music scene – artists we don’t usually get the chance to hear in our town.

Because we all need a playbreak sometimes – whether we’re kids, parents or somewhere in between. And the best kind is the one that gets us dancing and makes us forget how old we are.

DUKAT
STRAY DOGG STORYTELLING

Stray Dogg Storytelling is an intimate acoustic concert series by Dušan Strajnić (Dukat), singer-songwriter and frontman of the Serbian indie-folk/Americana band Stray Dogg and the band OXAJO. Usually held in intimate settings, these performances feature stripped-back, understated versions of his songs, interwoven with personal anecdotes and stories about the process behind their creation.

The atmosphere is romantic, gentle, and designed for a smaller audience. Dukat shares stories, anecdotes, and insights into how his songs have taken shape over more than a decade of his work. His music, infused with subtle melodies and quiet emotional tremors, has spent decades exploring the full spectrum of melancholic shades. Creating an atmosphere of deep vulnerability and understated strength, Dukat has developed an authentic artistic voice that endures and resonates.

BANE KNEŽEVIĆ

A longtime member of FEP, a Bačka Palanka native, and, within the festival team, known as the guy who can do just about anything – including playing two tracks at the same time – Bane Knežević has spent years exploring techno, and now brings the playbreak to the dancefloor with house, disco and funk sounds.

KENI NIJE MRTAV

Keni Nije Mrtav was formed in 2017 in Kruševac as a high-school band inspired by the energy of Californian punk and raw rock. Their sound combines punk energy, pop sensibility and an alternative approach, while their lyrics explore inner struggles, relationships and everyday life. Today, the band consists of Mateja Đokić (vocals and guitar) and Sava Tomić (drums).

After starting out at local gigs and festivals, they quickly expanded their audience across Serbia and the region. A turning point came in 2024 with their appearance at Pesma za Evroviziju, where their song “Dijamanti” reached the final and won over the audience. Since then, they have performed at major festivals including EXIT, Arsenal Fest, Sea Star Festival, KulaKula, Zagreb Beer Fest and Kaleidoscope Festival.

The band has released two studio albums – Ajmo da plešemo (2021) and Na vratima (2025) – alongside a number of notable singles. Their latest release, the EP Zbog tog osećaja, features six original songs and marks a more mature chapter in the band’s development, while retaining their strong, energetic and authentic sound.

PHONY JOB

Phony Job is a music project created by Petar Bogojević in 2023, from the need to shape and present his musical sketches. The debut release "Tommy" signed for the Kontra Rights label from Belgrade (RS) was released in the summer of 2023 and was followed by a single release and video for "Woohoo head" in June 2024, and Live EP from Down There Studios.

The music is inspired by the sound of the 60s, but also by the modern vibes from bands like Allah Las, Mystic Braves, The Black Angels, and The Dandy Warhols. Phony Job's most recognizable sounds come from fuzz guitars and organ solos. The latest 4 track EP "Head for the sun" was released in March 2025.

Phony Job are Emilija Đonin on vocals, organ, and tambourine, Jelisaveta Todorov on drums, Marko Obradović on guitar, Ivan Avramelović on bass, Sebastian Gubik on guitar, and Petar Bogojević on vocals, guitar, and keys.

BASS MATTER

Bass Matter is a tribute to rock ’n’ roll, freedom, truth, rebellion and the pursuit of freedom. A celebration of the music that captivated generations, that we loved, learned from and remained faithful to. Bass Matter will take you on a musical journey back to the 1960s and 1970s.

NIKLASH

NIKLASH is a teenage band formed in Bačka Palanka in 2025. The idea to start the band came from piano teacher Dragana Vranješ of the “Stevan Hristić” Music School, who recognized the shared passion of three young musicians for rock and metal music.

The band consists of Nikola Čutura (keyboards), Nikola Janković (electric guitar) and Zaharije Nikolić (drums). Their repertoire mainly features songs by the legendary band Metallica, which they perform with great energy and dedication.

The first song they performed publicly was “Nothing Else Matters”, and it is with this song, along with several other carefully selected tracks, that they will introduce themselves to the FEP audience. Although they are a young band, the members of NIKLASH are brought together by friendship, a love of music and a desire to share their energy and passion for rock with the audience at every performance.

BOSKO BALOS

Boško Baloš is a 25-year-old DJ and producer redefining the electronic music scene with his dynamic artistry and timeless sound. His catalog includes digital releases on labels such as Talman Records, Velvet Records, Clock’art Records, and Airtime Records, as well as renowned vinyl releases on 666 Recordings, Mr. Banger, and Sonic Surge. His next vinyl EP is set to be released soon on NOOI Music. Boško skillfully fuses the essence of ’90s and early 2000s house and techno with a contemporary sonic approach.

Known for his high-energy performances on three CDJs and exceptional skill in mixing both vinyl and digital formats, he has shared the stage with legends like James Zabiela, Marko Nastić, and N-Gynn. As the visionary behind Food For DJ’s, he continues to shape the future of underground music.

BELIK

Belik, whose real name is Igor, is a young talent from Bačka Palanka whose passion for electronic music has been evident from an early age. As a talented DJ and producer, Belik is carving out his own path in the world of electronic music.

Electronic sounds have always been a part of his life, with his first encounter with music dating back to his early years. He soon discovered a deep passion for minimal house and house music. His sound is characterized by deep basslines, melodic rhythms and occasional darker elements that create a hypnotic atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

What sets Belik apart is his exceptional ability to channel his emotions onto the dancefloor through music. His sets strike a perfect balance between melodic interludes and rhythmic explosions, creating a unique experience for electronic music lovers.

ТОМА ТЕК

Toma Tek is a well-known name on Novi Sad’s electronic music scene, recognized for his dynamic sets and the energy with which he effortlessly commands the dance floor. Growing up in Novi Sad – a city with a rich underground clubbing culture and home to EXIT Festival – Toma developed a deep passion for electronic music from an early age, shaping his musical identity ever since.

His style is defined by a fusion of driving rhythms and hypnotic melodies, skillfully balancing techno and tech house. In his sets, Toma Tek puts a strong emphasis on rolling basslines and carefully building the atmosphere, taking the audience on a genuine musical journey.

Behind the DJ booth, he stands out for his technical skill, versatility and ability to “read” the crowd. He has performed at numerous well-known local clubs and regional parties, sharing the booth with established names from the Serbian electronic music scene.
