The absence of theater as well as the absence of institutions focused on solving that issue is the crucial problem of our town. The Festival of ecological theater for children organization sistematically tries to solve that problem through its basic manifestation called FESTIVAL OF ECOLOGICAL THEATER FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH, as well as with some other projects. Out of the need to create a continuity in the cultural program of our town and to elevate the quality of that program, the project called “WHO YEARNS THE THEATER?” was made. Its main goal is to create a coherent, educated, strenghtened and active theater audience in Bačka Palanka. Aside from the activities aimed at solving this problem, such as public panel discussions about the topic, tribunes and workshops, the project also includes the organization of quality and current theater plays intended for people of all ages.
