OPEN COMPETITION FOR WORKSHOPS
Festival of Ecological Theater for Children and Youth invites you to apply for workshop leaders at the 28th FEP, which will take place from 18th to 21st August in Backa Palanka (Serbia).
Theatrical, educational, ecological, musical, and creative workshops on the topic of movement are all welcome to become a part of our Festival.
By choosing this theme the Festival of Ecological Theater for Children and Youth wants to highlight several issues that have in common the movement:
- Refugee crisis - attitude towards refugees and migrants locally and in the world, as well as attitude towards others in general;
- Ecological crisis - movement in nature and life of our planet at the time of the greatest ecological crisis and climate change;
- Travel - Restriction of movement due to a pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus;
- Movement - as the freedom of the body to move in nature;
One of the basic criteria for selecting workshops will be answering the given topic. It is possible to apply for several different workshops, but in this case, the application form should be filled out for each workshop separately.
You should also take into consideration that various workshops are held on different days. If you apply with several different workshops, it could happen that only one is accepted.
Important note – a workshop will not be accepted if it has been part of the program in the same form in the past two years.
Workshops are held during the Festival, usually in the morning (from 10 AM to 12 PM). A presentation of workshop creation is scheduled for the last day of the Festival, during the closing ceremony, when workshop leaders with their participants have an opportunity to present their work to the audience in a 10-minute performance.
The application deadline is April 25th, and you will be notified whether your workshop has been accepted no later than 15 days after we have received your application.
