Little Bakerellos is an educational and creative workshop for children aged 4 or older. Through the workshop, Mladen want to bring the joy of baking cookies and other treats closer to children. The goal of this workshop is to introduce children to the basics of making cookies/cakes through interaction with the ingredients, as well as working on imaginative decorations. Baking several types of treats is planned, and then they will be sold for profits going to charity.
Workshop is led by:
Mladen Kesler who is a professor of Dutch language and literature. However, his first love has always been cooking. He has been baking for slightly more than two years. It all started as a relaxing hobby but, in the meantime, it evolved into a life calling.

Through the drama and creative workshop What would happen if it wasn’t… children will have an opportunity to create their own versions of animated movies. The idea behind this workshop is to use play, dance and music to come up with authentic continuations of scenes from animated movies, and for acting tasks to bring back to life heroes from our childhood. The goal of this workshop is encouraging imagination, developing creativity, learning basic steps of acting and searching for new forms of stories already told.
Workshop is led by:
Nikola Milaković and Andrija Mitić, who are actors who graduated at the Academy of Art in Banja Luka in class of prof. Jelena Trepetova Kostić. Nikola Milaković has long been a collaborator of the Children’s Theatre of the Republic of Srpska, as well as the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska. Andrija Mitić was an associate of the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska during his studies. Currently he works at the National Theatre in Niš. Besides this, they have previous experience with film and television.
3. What can we make from cardboard?
creative ecological workshop

What can we make from cardboard is an ecological, educational and creative workshop for young people. Using the ecological and theatrical perspectives, the goal of this workshop is to introduce the creative universe of cardboard and masks to the participants. Cardboard will be used for creating masks while thinking about masks from different cultures and imaginary creatures. This workshop allows one to feel the surreal, theatrical and plastic world, stressing the need for recycling and recovery. The workshop promotes the significance of protecting the environment, as well as the idea of giving second chance to different materials that could be used in an innovative and useful way.
Workshop is led by:
Pablo Durán Rojas and Diana Costa , who are actors and educators. Pablo is from Spain. He graduated at the School of Dramatic Arts in Seville in 2006. He specialized in Comedia del arte by going to various courses in Spain and abroad. Diana is from Italy. She graduated in theatrical arts at the University of Bologna. She specialized in creating and managing theatrical and cultural projects. Since 2014, together with Neamero Teatro, Pablo and Diana, have been organizing activities in social, educational and formative fields, and have been participating in national and international programmes and festivals (Italy, Spain, Chile, Colombia, Turkey…).
4. Science or magic
scientific workshop

This is a very interesting and educational workshop where children will have the opportunity to see various optical illusions. The participants will take on the role of chemists and find out how different chemical matters react together and how an egg ends up in a bottle without us using our hands.
5. Around the world
adventure workshop
Age: 4-12
Saturday
Through experiments at the Around the world workshop children, as true adventurers, will travel to France, England, China and Japan, and find out what true engineering endeavours are. Also, they will be able to learn how a catapult functions, what an origami is, and then they will make all of it on their own.
Workshops are led by:
Zorka Karas, who grated at the Faculty of Education in Sombor as one of the best students. She received permanent knowledge and training by working in elementary schools, education centres and school “Tinker Labs”. Zorka sees every new class and continued education as an additional way for children to go back to nature, natural sciences, thinking, logic, analytical and synthetic thinking, and true values.
6. Violence is not cool: Let’s connect and support each other in fight against bullying
educational workshop

The goal of this workshop is for young people to learn about different types of bullying and the consequences it can have, as well. Hopefully, this workshop will help young people advance their communication skills and strategies for conflict resolution, which would positively affect the decrease of violence among peers.
Workshop is led by:
Katarina Berežni, who is a Master of Psychology, and completed her studies in psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad in 2019. Katarina is also a psychological counsellor. She has been doing psychological counselling for a work organization and within the non-governmental sector since 2018, while independently she been doing psychotherapy since 2021. Now she works as a psychological counsellor at the centre “Alma” and at the youth centre “Infopolis”. Besides this, Katarina is also one of the founders of the youth organization “Kreativni kutak” in Sremska Mitrovica, where she promotes mental health to the young people and implements intercultural mobility projects.

puppetry workshop

At this workshop you will have the opportunity to learn how a puppet show is created – from coming up with a theme, making puppets and scenography, to the division of roles and premiere. It uses the well-known technique of making objects out of cardboard called “Pop up”. Come and let’s talk, cut, glue, sing, dance and act.
Workshop is led by:
Jovan Caran, who was an actor-puppeteer at the puppet theatre in Zrenjanin from 1974. He played in almost all of the puppet shows. He has received around 30 awards from various festivals – for acting, puppet design, design, direction, puppet script. He is author of various scripts for puppet theatre. He has directed about 50 plays in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Recently a book of his titled “Bajkologija za lutkare” (Fairytale-logy for puppeteers) was published. He has been popularizing the art of puppetry through various workshops. He creates and constructs puppets in his own workshop.
